Ezio is a 2-door, 2-seater electric vehicle designed to revolutionise city commuting

Gensol Electric Vehicles (GEVPL), a subsidiary of Gensol Engineering, recently unveiled its micro urban mobility compact electric vehicle, ‘Ezio’ and a last-mile delivery and cargo electric vehicle ‘Ezibot’ at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. As of now, the company has received 30,000 pre-orders for both the vehicles from the existing fleet operators.

Ezio is a 2-door, 2-seater electric vehicle designed to revolutionise city commuting. It is a first of its kind EV that features an innovative reverse trike design that optimises energy efficiency, reduces vehicle weight, and enhances stability. The design also reduced parking challenges, optimises rear storage, and ensures enhanced maneuverability. It is capable of covering 200 km on a single charge and supports the fastest AC-based charging in its segment, achieving a full charge in just 2-3 hours.

Speaking at the unveiling of the Gensol EV car, Anmol Singh Jaggi, Managing Director, Gensol Engineering, said, "The Bharat Mobility Show provided the perfect platform to showcase Ezio, a vehicle that redefines urban commuting for the Indian market. At Gensol EV, our focus is on creating world-class, purpose-driven mobility solutions that address real challenges—such as traffic congestion, rising pollution, and the need for affordable fleet operations. Ezio represents our commitment to building sustainable and innovative products made in India for India."

Ezio’s space frame chassis, crafted with high-tensile steel, ensures superior strength and durability. The vehicle has undergone over 100,000 km of rigorous testing in diverse conditions to meet stringent safety and performance standards.

"As we prepare to begin production at our state-of-the-art facility in Chakan, Pune and launch in urban markets like Bangalore and Delhi, we aim to accelerate India’s transition to smarter, greener mobility solutions." added Pratik Gupta, CEO, Gensol EV.
