Honda Rounds-Up Festive Season On A High, Registers 449,391 Unit Sales In Oct’22

Contributing to the industry’s growth momentum with positive year-on-year performance in domestic sales, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) today announced its sales numbers for the month of October 22. 

The company’s total dispatches for the month stood at 449,391 units (including 425,969 units in domestic and 23,422 exports) as compared to 432,229 units in October’21 (including 394,645 domestic sales & 37,584 exports). 

“This year’s festival season has ushered in a period of real growth & positive sentiment after a challenging period of two-years. With celebrations in full swing and a strong growth prospect for the coming times, we are truly elated to witness such strong demand pouring in from the market,” said Atsushi Ogata, MD, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.

Celebrating a landmark achievement in Maharashtra, HMSI announced its cumulative two-wheeler sales in the region have crossed the momentous 80 lakh units mark. Fortifying its customer reach, HMSI inaugurated new Red Wing outlets in Raigarh (Chhattisgarh), Kamareddy (Telangana), Katihar & Supaul (Bihar) and Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh). Parallelly, HMSI expanded its BigWing network with new outlets in Rajkot (Gujarat), New Delhi and two outlets in Hyderabad (Telangana).
