Hyundai Records 60,774 Unit Sales In April 2025, Creta Emerges As Highest-Selling Model

The Creta’s outstanding performance has driven SUV sales to an all-time high, with SUVs contributing 70.9 per cent of HMIL’s domestic sales in April

Carmaker, Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has surpassed domestic sales of 9 million units since inception in 1996. In April 2025, HMIL reported total sales of 60,774 units, including 44,374 units sold in the domestic market and 16,400 units exported. The company continues to uphold its ‘Make in India, Made for the World’ philosophy, posting a robust 21.5 per cent year-on-year growth in exports for the month. From January to April 2025, exports grew by 16.2 per cent over the same period last year.

Also, Hyundai Creta has maintained its dominance in the Indian automobile industry, emerging as the second highest-selling model across all segments for the second consecutive month. In April 2025, the Creta recorded 17,016 unit sales, representing a 10.2 per cent YoY growth compared to April 2024. Cumulatively, it registered 69,914 units sold from January to April 2025, making it the top-selling SUV in the country during this period.
