Kia unveiled its much-awaited Seltos, today in an event held in Delhi. The Seltos is Kia Motors first product in the already buzzing Indian Automotive Market. The much-awaited Seltos will be officially launched next month across 160 cities in India.

- The Seltos will be a direct competitor to the Creta and it will fall in the same segment. It will be priced at INR 11-17 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.

- Kia will be the first car that would officially have the BS6 compliant engine which indicates that the car is future ready.

- Kia will be available in 3 engine options: petrol, 1.4 turbo petrol, and 1.4 diesel engine.

- Kia is offering a lot of transmission options to let the customers choose from a wide variety like: a 7-speed DCT, 6 speed AT, a manual and a new (IVT) intelligent continuously variable transmission as Kia likes to call it. It will be exciting to see how so many combinations work and performs.

- Drivers can choose from three different driving modes: Normal, Eco and Sport Mode.

- Kia Seltos will be the first car in its segment to offer a wide variety of service stores at 265 authorized touch-points at 160 locations across India. This makes it the most widely reachable new car in the lot.

- It comes with a signature Kia tiger-nose grille, a muscular shoulder line and full front and rear LED lights that give it a sharp look.

- Kia will be the first car in the segment to come with a HUD-Heads Up Display which would not only display the speed but also navigation/ directions.

- The Seltos will come with a UVO Connect that boasts 37 smart features like security, management, Remote Control, and the UVO facility will be available for free for the first 3 years.

- The Seltos gets 6 airbags with ABS, EBD, ESC, HAC, and VSM. The chassis is built out of high-grade steel with active and passive safety features.

- The car will feature a segment first 360* surround camera with a blind view mirror monitor and driving rearview monitor. It also comes with rear and front parking sensors.

- It also comes with an intelligent system of stolen vehicle notification, tracking, and mobilization.
The new Seltos is exciting to look at and with world-class segment first features it makes it even more attractive. It boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen multimedia display along with a 7-inch MID screen and sits on 17-inch wheels with multi-spokes. When it launches we will see how it fares against the segment king, the Hyundai Creta but with so many drivetrains it will be interesting to see how it drives.
