Lamborghini Launches Temerario In India At Rs 6 Crore

Luxury Italian carmaker, Lamborghini has introduced its latest high-performance sports car, the Temerario, in India. Starting at Rs 6 crore (ex-showroom), the Temerario is the brand’s newest flagship model, replacing the older Huracan. It was first revealed at the Monterey Car Week in August last year. This is Lamborghini’s second plug-in hybrid, following the Revuelto.
Bold New Design
The Temerario features a fresh design that combines stunning looks with smart aerodynamics. At the front, it sports a sharp, aggressive shape known as a "shark nose," along with sleek LED headlights. Special hexagon-shaped daytime lights also help direct air for better engine cooling and airflow.
From the side, the car has a muscular look with strong lines and wide wheel arches. Air intakes behind the doors help cool the engine, and the roof is shaped to push air smoothly towards the rear spoiler, improving stability at high speeds. At the back, the sporty design is completed with hexagon exhausts and a large diffuser.
Tech-Loaded Interior
Inside, the Temerario takes inspiration from Lamborghini’s Revuelto model. It offers a driver-focused interior with a modern feel. The dashboard includes:
The controls are user-friendly and designed to feel like a smartphone. Lamborghini has also improved comfort, offering more space than the Huracan—34 mm more headroom and 46 mm more legroom. The standard seats are heated, ventilated, and offer 18 different adjustment options. There's even more room for luggage, making the car more practical than you'd expect from a supercar.
Hybrid Power, Extreme Speed
Under the hood, the Temerario marks a new era for Lamborghini, moving away from its traditional petrol engines. It runs on a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine that produces 789 horsepower on its own and can rev up to 10,000 rpm.
It also has three electric motors, bringing total power to 907 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque:
Two motors on the front wheels allow for all-wheel drive and short-distance electric driving. One motor sits between the engine and the gearbox to help with smoother gear changes and quick acceleration. The hybrid system uses a 3.8 kWh battery that can be fully charged in 30 minutes with a 7 kW charger. It also charges while driving using braking or the engine.
Lamborghini claims the Temerario can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, and reach speeds over 340 km/h. It comes with multiple driving modes, including a new Drift mode for controlled skidding—adding even more excitement behind the wheel.
