Log9’s InstaCharge Tech Will Empower eBikeGo’s Electric Trike Velocipedo

Electric two-wheeler mobility start-up, eBikeGo which provides rental electric bikes has partnered with battery technology start-up Log9 Materials to launch their 10-minute Superfast Charging Technology (InstaCharge technology) for their upcoming three-wheeler electric trike, Velocipedo.

Under the agreement, eBikeGo is trying to put its best foot forward in the Indian and international EV market. The Log9 Materials will help the company by providing their InstaCharge technology that enables Velocipedo to be charged within just 10 minutes. This will create a new benchmark in the EV industry.

Velocipedo is a unique concept, three-wheeled, smart electric trike that is equipped with two front wheels and one rear wheel, a carbon fibre roof and 2 seats for occupants. The electric trike will be able to attain a top speed of 95 km per hour, delivering a range of 100 km on a single charge. With Log9’s InstaCharge technology, the Velocipedo will take around 10 minutes on a 220V socket to get fully charged, and the regenerative braking feature would add 10 to 20 percent to the range. 

The production of three-wheeler electric trike, Velocipedo will begin by the starting of 2023.

The Velocipedo-Cargo is intended for commercial use, which has room only for the driver; along with a space to accommodate up to 100 kg of cargo.
