Maruti Suzuki Jimny Unveiled At Auto Expo

Maruti Suzuki has showcased the Fourth Generation Japan model of Suzuki Jimny.  Known as the ‘authentic off-roader’, the all-terrain vehicle has a legacy of over 50 years, catering to customers worldwide.

Jimny is built on a tough & compact platform offering better maneuverability. A true off-road vehicle, the Suzuki Jimny has proven to be reliable and strong despite its compact footprint, becoming Suzuki’s flagship model across 194 countries and regions. Sporting a rectangular body shape helps Jimny create an excellent awareness of the vehicle's stance and its surroundings. The use of a ladder frame, low range transfer gear and 3-link rigid axle suspension helps boost performance while ensuring good ride comfort.

With a 1.5L petrol engine, the Jimny has the power of 75 kW /6000 rpm and torque of 130 Nm /4000 rpm to traverse difficult terrains. The 4WD drive enhanced with the ALL GRIP PRO technology takes on all terrains with unrivaled agility and powerful torque.
