Maruti Suzuki has recorded 2.4 per cent rise on the sales of 133,296 passenger vehicles segment in the domestic market.
The Carmaker said it sold 124,375 vehicles in the domestic market this month against to 121,479 vehicles sold in the December a year ago.
The domestic OEM sales and export stood at 1,360 units and 7,561 units respectively.
The mini car segment, which includes Alto, saw a drop of 13.6 per cent to 23,883 units.
Compact Segment saw a growth of nearly 28 per cent to 65,673 units. The compact segment includes WagonR, Dzire, Swift and Celerio.
Its Mid-Size Ciaz saw a dip of 62.3 per cent in sales to 1,786.
The Utility vehicles which includes Gypsy and Ertiga records a rise of 17.7 per cent to 23,808.
The Carmaker said its domestic sales were down by 17 per cent at 1.1 million units since the April 2019.
