Maruti Suzuki Sales Fall To 1,50,661 Units In April 2022

Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 1,50,661 units in April 2022 compared to 1,59,691 units in April 2021. Total sales in the month include domestic sales of 1,26,261 units, sales to other OEMs of 5,987 units and exports of 18,413 units.

The company says that the shortage of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of vehicles, mainly domestic models in a statement.

Maruti sold 76,321 units of mini + compact segment cars in April 2022, whereas they sold 97,359 units in April 2021.

Total sales of domestic passenger vehicles remain at 1,21,995 units compared to 1,35,879 units sold in April 2021.
