Mavox Helmets - Sandhar Amkin Industries Pvt, Ltd Participates In Road Safety Awareness Campaign

In an attempt to promote 'Road Safety' Ministry of Road Transport and Highways announced the 31st National Road Safety Week 2020 (11th to 17th January). To demonstrate support to this noble cause, Mavox Helmets - SandharAmkin Industries Pvt Ltd., participated in the All India Road Safety Awareness campaign held at Manesar, Gurugram. Supported by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the campaign aims at spreading Road Safety Awareness and to avoid road crashes. More than 800 people from Delhi NCR region participated in this event, adding more vigor and compassion towards raising the bar for safety on the roads.

This week-long road safety campaign will get to the minds of people by inspiring them with activities like:  Road Safety Walkathon, Road Safety Quiz, coming together in a human chain, Road Safety Anthem, observing a minute silence for millions of victims that have died in road death, and taking pledge of road safety code of conduct.  The event guided the people to realize that our one decision made towards ensuring our safety, can have a huge impact on our lives, as well as our loved ones in many ways.

#IARC2020 campaign held at Manesar, started at 3:45 pm and went on till 5:15pm. The volunteers participated in all the activities. The drive urged people to wear helmets and seat belts and to avoid using mobile phone while driving. Mavox Helmets Supports this Campaign and will participate in Delhi and Other Locations in Delhi NCR.

Ayyushman Mehta, MD, Mavox Helmets - SandharAmkin Industries Pvt Ltd., educated the people for the reasons to choose only ISI certified helmets rather than opting for cheaper alternatives. Speaking on the safety campaign, he said, "We are proud to participate in this national drive towards road safety and hereby, urge people to be more responsible and choose their personal safety. The trends show that a large number of road accidents involves two-wheeler riders and the main reason behind fatal injuries is either not wearing helmets or using a local helmet incapable of handling sudden collusion. Through this campaign we request people to opt for ISI marked helmets only to ensure their own safety.”
