Ola's First Electric Car Will Be Launched In 2024; 0-100 Km/h In 4 Seconds
Ola Electric has revealed its future plan for the electric car at its Mission Electric 2022 event. The company also showcased its first electric car.
Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola said that this will be the sportiest car ever built in India and he also revealed a few more details about the design and features.
The first Ola electric car will host an all glass-roof, designed with drag coefficient of less than .21. In terms of features, the car will have assisted driving capabilities, keyless operation and Ola's homemade MoveOS.
Being a sports car, Bhavish said that this will be one of the fastest cars in India that can attain a speed of 0 to 100 km per hour in under 4 seconds. Well, that's a massive claim.
This electric car will have a driving range of 500 km on a single charge.
The first Ola Electric car will be launched in 2024, followed by six different models of its electric car made across two platforms.
Ola Electric is also building a car manufacturing plant near its current future factory at Krishnagiri in Hosur district, Tamil Nadu. The car factory is expected to have a production capacity of 10 lakh cars per year.
