The Tamil Nadu Government has delivered the initial pilot of 200 units of ecoDryft vehicles to the government workforce. In the coming one year, the overall plan is to deliver a total of 6000 electric motorcycles.
Ravi Meena, the concerned nodal officer from the Tamil Nadu state government, for this green initiative quoted "The delivery ecoDryft pilot lot vehicles is the initial stepping stone in our efforts to add green fleets among the government workforce,"
Designed and developed at Pure EV’s manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, the ecoDryft e-motorcycle offers a top speed of 75 km/h. Powering the electric motorcycle is a 3 kWh battery, offering a claimed on-road range of 85 km to 130 km with three driving modes. The electric motorcycle is also equipped with smart BMS, Bluetooth connectivity and Smart Mobile App.
CEO of Pure EV, Rohit Vadera, also shared his thoughts on the occasion, saying, "We have forged collaborations with financial institutions like SIDBI in meeting the overall requirement of 6000 vehicles in the coming one year."
Pure EV currently has RE EV has around 130 dealerships across India and plans to further expand its footprint across 300 cities by the end of 2023.
