Revolt Unveils India’s First Electric Motorcycle With AI: RV 400

The RV400 was revealed in an event on 18th June in Delhi and will be the country’s first electric bike with a host of connected features. The bike will be easily started from your smartphone and at launch, it will come in two colors: Rebel Red and Cosmic Black.

The pre-bookings for the bikes will be open from 25th June for INR 1000 which will be done through Revolt.com and Amazon which is the online partner.

Apart from being an electric bike, it will follow the new trend of Connected Vehicles and will come with a host of features that can be controlled via your smartphone including a slide to start feature which will start your motorcycle from your phone. 

It comes with a lot of exciting features like 

1. On-Board Charging: You can directly plug in your bike to a 15A socket.
2. Portable Battery: The battery can be easily taken out and can be charged at your office and home in less than 4 hours.
3. Mobile Order: It will help you find the nearest battery swap station on the go with the help of your mobile phone and the battery arrives to you and can be changed in less than 60 seconds.
4. Delivery: You can order a battery for your bike with the help of your smartphone and it will be delivered to you at your doorstep.

Revolt App  : This app will let you control all the features of your motorcycle right from starting it to looking at information like personal behavior of the rider, bike location with map, battery percentage, bike mode, estimated range, sound preview for an authentic mechanical sound through speakers, bike statistics, trip details, ECU updates through OTA, Uploading documents like Licence,  RC and a ton of other features.

The software of the bike can be updated regularly for bugs and glitches through “Over The Air” updates for the firmware.
