A global automotive and Industrial supplier, Schaeffler India, has re-appointed Harsha Kadam as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer as on March 22, 2024, subject to the approval of Shareholders in due course.
Kadam's new term will commence on October 1, 2024, and extend through September 30, 2027, marking a pivotal phase in Schaeffler India's journey to strengthen our position and drive growth.
On the appointment, Eranti Sumithasri, Chairperson & Independent Director at Schaeffler India, said in a press statement, " We are pleased to share that the Board of Directors has approved the re-appointment of Harsha Kadam as the Managing Director & CEO of Schaeffler India for another three-year term from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2027. With his strategic vision and leadership, Harsha Kadam has successfully steered the Company towards new heights over the past few years.”
Kadam has over three decades of experience in propelling businesses towards profitable growth. His expertise spans across various domains including sales, manufacturing, product design and development, and business excellence.
He played a pivotal role in navigating the complex and challenging business landscape, resulting in remarkable growth at Schaeffler India after joining in 2018 as president of Industrial Business. He later took up the role of MD and CEO in 2019 for an initial five-year tenure. His re-appointment underscores the company's commitment to maintaining consistent leadership during this phase of growth and transformation.
