The Czech car manufacturer, Skoda Auto has launched a new edition of its compact SUV Kushaq, called the Monte Carlo edition in India. The Kushaq is now the second product to adorn the Monte Carlo badge in the Skoda’s portfolio after the Skoda Rapid.
What’s new?
The Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo now gets new sporty design elements on the outside and the inside. On the exterior, the new edition comes with a black glossy grille surround and black air-dam inserts with Monte Carlo badging on the sides. In the predecessor, we have witnessed most elements in chrome finish.
The black theme is followed on the rearview mirrors, roof rails running along the edges, sunroof, and the trunk lid with Skoda and Kushaq inscriptions at the rear, except on the exterior door handles. The Monte Carlo edition comes with 17-inch alloy wheels with a design similar to what we have seen on the Skoda Octavia before.
In the interior, the Kushaq Monte Carlo carries forward the black theme in the upholstery with ruby red metallic inserts. The ruby red metallic inserts adorn the width of the dashboard, flowing down the centre console and continuing onward to the front doors.
The Kushaq Monte Carlo edition continues to provide the front ventilated seats as on the predecessor.
