Toyota temporarily halted the Innova Crysta's production last year in order to concentrate on the introduction of the new Innova Hycross, which is effectively the MPV's third generation. However, the company had stated that it will keep selling the Innova Crysta as a diesel-only model. In keeping with its commitment, the company recently started reservations for the Innova Crysta diesel for a deposit of Rs 50,000; the price will be revealed later this month. The MPV is propelled by the same 2.4-litre diesel engine as previously, which produces 148 horsepower and a maximum torque of 343 Nm. Power is delivered to the rear wheels by the motor through a 5-speed manual gearbox, which is included as standard equipment. Additionally, it complies with the forthcoming RDE standards.

The Citroen eC3 will debut this month as Citroen's first electric car for the Indian market. The new tiny electric car is based on the Citroen C3, the brand's premium hatchback, and it has a single 29.2 kWh battery pack with a 320 km range (As Per MIDC Cycle). A permanent magnet synchronous motor is driven by the battery to generate roughly 56 horsepower and 143 Nm of torque. It can be expected that the hatchback's ex-showroom price to be Rs. 9 lakh, at which point it will compete favourably with the Tiago EV.
