Volvo Group and Eicher Motors' joint venture, VE Commercial Vehicles recorded sales of 6,543 units in August 2024 as compared to 6,476 units in August 2023, a growth of 1 per cent. This includes 6,283 units of Eicher brand and 260 units of Volvo brand.
Following are details for August 2024:
- Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6,283 units in August 2024 as compared to 6,239 units in August 2023 representing a growth of 0.7 per cent.
- In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6,028 units in August 2024 as compared to 5,907 units in August 2023, representing a growth of 2 per cent.
- On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses recorded sales of 255 units in August 2024 as compared to 332 units in August 2023, representing a decline of 23.2 per cent.
- Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses recorded sales of 260 units in July 2024 as compared to 237 units in August 2023, representing a growth of 9.7 per cent.
