Volvo India Hikes Ex-Showroom Prices By Up To 4%

Swedish carmaker, Volvo has increased prices in India across all the models and variants. The increase has been done in the ex-showroom prices of its cars in India ranging between Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 3 lakh. The price hike comes as a result of the rising input costs pressure.

The company had last increased the prices on cars at the beginning of this year but the automaker says that the continuous disruption of global supply chains, higher logistics costs, and a volatile forex situation since then has led to a substantial increase in input costs.

The new increased prices are effective from immediate effect. However, the company says that all bookings made till 12 April 2022 will attract old prices but the customers who have booked their cars at Volvo dealerships after April 12, 2022, will be eligible for increased prices.
