2021 Safari Unveiled; Booking Open From February 4

Tata Motors has officially unveiled its all-new 2021 Safari SUV in India. The new Safari is based on the company's Impact 2.0 design language. The SUV was showcased in pre-production form with the codename of Gravitas (Gravitas) at the Auto Expo held in February last year. It will be launched around the first week of next month. The new 2021 Tata Safari SUV has been offered in three color options - Royal Blue, White and Gray. 

The 2021 Tata Safari SUV gets the OMEGARC platform inspired by the Land Rover D8. The new Safari will get a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine which generates 168 bhp power and 350 Nm torque. The engine will be offered with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. This SUV has three riding modes Eco, City, Sports.

Talking about the dimensions of the new Safari, its length, width and height will be more than the old Tata Safari. The 2021 Tata Safari features 18-inch machined alloy wheels. The SUV has been tested in temperatures ranging from minus 10 ° C to 50 ° C, the company said.

Speaking about exteriors, the 2021 Tata Safari SUV gets a stepped panoramic sunroof, Xenon HID projector headlamps, chrome studded tri arrow front grille and twin light LED tail lamps. 

The interior of the Safari is made using a dashboard of ash wood and it also get the luxurious Oyster White interior theme and Oyster White leather upholstery which further garnish its premium look. The cabin of the car gets features like 8.8 inch floating island infotainment system, 320 watt JBL audio system, mood lighting, 6th powered driver seat. Dedicated USB ports, cup holders, dedicated AC units have also been provided for third row seats in the SUV. 

Coming to the safety features, the new 2021 Tata Safari has unique double firewall design, 6 airbags, disc brakes, tire pressure monitoring system, auto dimming IRVM, cornering fog lamps, child seat isophics, electric parking brake with auto hold, electronic stability Safety features like program, hill hold control, hill descent control are given.
