All-new Kia Seltos & Sonet Are Here

2022 Kia Sonet, Seltos have been launched in India with multiple new updates, styling changes, and additional features. Features that were previously available in higher variants of the model have now been extended to the lower variants.

So what new do these two refreshed versions offer?

The main highlight is that the 2022 Kia Seltos now gets Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) technology paired with a diesel engine which is the first in India. Another highlight is that both the SUVs now get four airbags by adding side airbags as standard across all lower variants. 

The 2022 Seltos also comes in a new HTX AT variant which is powered by a 1.5 power-train diesel engine. The paddle shifters have been extended along with multi-drive and traction modes for all automatic variants. But this is not it, on the new Seltos there are 13 new enhancements which include Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (Highline TPMS) and all-wheel disc brakes are also offered as standard on the new Kia Seltos. 

The new Sonet now comes equipped with side airbags and Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (Highline TPMS) as standard across variants. The company also offers more safety features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Brake Assist (BA), and Hill Assist Control (HAC) as standard on the iMT trims.  

Both the SUVs get design changes in the Seltos & Sonet logo on the D-cut steering wheel and tailgate and the consumers also get to choose from the two new colour options - Imperial Blue and Sparkling Silver.

The 2022 Kia Seltos & Sonet are available in 19 & 21 variants respectively. The price range of the 2022 Kia Seltos starts from Rs. 10.19 lakh and goes up to Rs. 18.45 lakh (ex-showroom) while 2022 Kia Sonet starts from Rs. 7.15 lakh and goes up to Rs. 13.69 lakh (ex-showroom) for higher variants.
