Audi A6 Launched In India; Price Starts From 54.2 Lacs
Audi has launched the new Audi A6 in India. The car is equipped with a powerful 2.0L TFSI engine and generates 180kW (245 hp) and 370 Nm of torque propelling the car from 0-100kmph in 6.8 seconds. The fully connected new Audi A6 45 TFSI is now available across Audi dealerships in India. The range starts at INR 54,20,000 onwards.
Commenting on the launch, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, “With the launch of the new Audi A6, we are presenting the eighth generation of the successful full-size sedan that brings numerous innovations to the segment. The new Audi A6 heralds the very best of luxury and technology, while also marking the entry of our first BS-VI compliant model in the country. Whether in terms of digitalization, comfort or sportiness – the elegantly sculptured new Audi A6 is a multi-talent in the luxury class and we are confident that it will be one of our best-selling models in India.”
Dhillon further added, “The new Audi A6 is a car that will attract buyers who want to drive as well as be driven. It is a blend of front and rear seat comfort – offered with a host of gadgets that will appeal to the user. With the launch of the new Audi A6 and a slew of other launches in 2020 we are confident of increasing our car parc in India.”
Commenting on Audi India’s digitalization initiatives, Dhillon said, “Digital customer-centric initiatives are a key focus area for Audi in India. Audi India also introduced Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) elements that give customers a look and feel of a car that can be configured before purchase.
The Luggage compartment comes with an increased loading width and 530 liters capacity.
Mild-hybrid technology (MHEV, mild hybrid electric vehicle) via belt alternator starter and additional lithium-ion battery, 12V subsystem. The MHEV technology permits coasting with the combustion engine switched off, high recuperation power and extended start-stop operation.
