BYD Concludes 2023 With 3 Million Annual Sales
BYD ended 2023 with sales volume growth that exceeded the three million annual sales target and led new energy vehicle (NEV) sales for the second year in a row. This year also marks BYD's first appearance in the global top ten car sales rankings.
In December, BYD reported sales of 341,043 units, a 45 per cent increase, culminating in a total of 3,024,417 vehicles sold throughout the year, a substantial 61.9 per cent surge from the previous year.
In 2023, BYD's international exports grew by 334.2 per cent to 242,765 units, extending its reach across over 70 countries on six continents, BYD reported in a release.
