E2W maker, Pure EV has launched its newest EV dealership showroom in orange city of India, Nagpur, in the presence of Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari.
The showroom is an experience center showcasing the range of electric motorcycles and scooters of the company.
Pure EV has crossed more than 50,000 deliveries of E2W through its network of dealerships across the country. The Company has established a 1,00,000sq.ft. factory in Telangana comprising vehicle and in-house battery manufacturing divisions. The Company is further in the process of expansion to 2,00,000sqft facility with an annual vehicle production capacity of 120,000 units and an annual battery production capacity of 0.5 GWh, which will be ready by end of FY 23.
On the occasion the chief guest, Nitin Gadkari appreciated the pricing and product quality of the models and further commented that for the mass EV revolution to come in the country, it is necessary that EV OEMs keep working on cost innovation and indigenisation to bring the product within the reach of a wider set of population. He emphasized that EVs and alternative fuels are the future of the country.
Pure EV is rapidly expanding its dealership network across the country and is also having a dominant position in the exports to other Asian countries like Nepal and Bhutan. The company is in further exploration of export opportunities to South East Asia, Middle East, Latin America and African markets.
