Delhi-NCR based electric commercial vehicle start-up Euler Motors last year in October launched their HiLoad electric three-wheeler cargo vehicle and has now partnered with 2017 started Magenta, an Electric Vehicle (EV) solutions provider company, to deploy their 1000 vehicles in India. The key cities targeted for the deployment include Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai followed by other regions in the coming months.
Euler Motors has already started deliveries for Magenta with the first batch of 20 of these commercial electric vehicles. The vehicles being deployed constitute multiple segments and customer applications which include e-commerce, food delivery, pharma, and other logistic clients.
The Euler HiLoad three-wheeler electric commercial cargo vehicle packs a battery of 12.4 kWh which delivers a range of 151km on a single charge and can carry a load of up to 688kgs which is the highest payload capacity in this segment.
With an increasing demand for electric commercial vehicles, Euler Motors has also announced that they will spend around Rs. 200 crores of money towards CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) and will increase their production to 35,000 units per annum.
Euler Motors is trying to bring a real change in EV adoption and is aggressively expanding its footprint to drive zero-emission logistics in India while Magenta's mission is to enable clean mobility with the intent to assist e-commerce and logistics enterprises in scaling up. Magenta also owns the Electric Vehicle Enabled Transport (EVET) brand of Electric Vehicles under its electric fleet as a service operating model which offers a comprehensive end-to-end solution
