EV charging infrastructure provider, goEgoNetwork has launched its first EV (electric vehicle) charging park on Mumbai - Bangalore Highway, opposite Balewadi Stadium. This is a 24-hour charging park which comprises of two 60 kW DC fast-charging stations that can charge four electric vehicles at a time.
This 60 kW DC Pelican EV charging station can charge an electric four-wheeler up to 80 percent in around 45 to 60 minutes and can top up the battery in around 90-120 minutes, depending on the size of the battery.
The charging park is also equipped with a Bharat AC charging station, which has three socket charging station that delivers 3.3 KW output to charge an electric two and three-wheelers.
The park was inaugurated by the MLA of Shivajinagar, Siddharth Shirole.
This EV charging park in Pune is a key milestone for the company. The charging park will support all the electric vehicles, currently available in the Indian market.
As of now, goEgoNetwork has close to 2000 members on its network and gets up to 50 charging sessions per day.
Using the goME app, one can also get real-time notifications about the EV’s charging status.
