Two-wheeler manufacturer, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched its affordable and fuel-efficient mass motorcycle, Shine 100 in Uttar Pradesh.

Now marking its presence in the 100cc basic mass commuter category, Honda Shine 100 is developed with 12 patent applications.
Shine 100 boosts an all-new 100cc OBD2 compliant PGM-FI engine, boosted by Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) which optimises energy output by maximising efficient combustion and minimising friction with a smooth eco-friendly engine.
Launching the all-new Shine 100 in Uttar Pradesh, Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales & Marketing at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “Uttar Pradesh is an important market for us, and we are pleased to see the growing demand for our motorcycles in the state. This new 100cc engine comes with an external fuel pump fitted outside the fuel tank that reduces maintenance time. The seat length on the bike is 677mm with 786mm seat height. Honda Shine 100cc has a wheelbase of 1245 mm and ground clearance of 168mm.
The side stand with engine inhibitor prevents engine start while the side stand is engaged. The bike also gets Combi-Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer.
Shine 100 will be available in 5 colour options (Black with Red Stripes, Black with Blue Stripes, Black with Green Stripes, Black with Gold Stripes and Black with Grey Stripes).
The all-new Shine 100 comes at an introductory price of Rs. 62,900 (ex-showroom, Uttar Pradesh).
