The 42 Bobber is the company's most recent model under the "Factory Custom" programme, according to Jawa Motorcycles. With pricing ranging from Rs. 2.06 lakh to Rs. 2.09 lakh, the new Jawa 42 Bobber is based on the ordinary Jawa 42 but receives the Bobber treatment tight from the manufacturer (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 42 Bobber, which comes in Mystic Copper, Moonstone White, and a dual-tone Jasper Red, is now the most reasonably priced factory-built Bobber in the nation. The bike's design is vastly different from the ordinary 42's, and the ergonomics have been improved to add to the Factory Custom experience. The first nationwide test drives and deliveries will start the following week.
The Jawa 42 Bobber maintains the bobber design aesthetic with its low single seat, simple bodywork, chopped fenders, and fat tyres. Finish headlamp and an independent clock instrument console round out the classic look. The gasoline tank of the 42 Bobber has been ergonomically carved knee recesses and tank cushions that improve grip and provide a modern-retro touch. The side panels and fenders are gloss black in colour. New switchgear and all-LED lighting are included with the bike.
The seat pan, padding, and upholstery of the floating seat have all been entirely redone. Additionally, the Jawa 42 Bobber's ergonomics are improved as a result, increasing comfort. Additionally, it has two adjustment options that let the seat be moved in any direction. The rider triangle differs from the conventional 42 due to a redesigned handlebar and forward-set foot pegs.
The Jawa Perak's well-known 334 cc single-cylinder engine provides the power. The engine produces 30.2 bhp and 32.74 Nm of maximum torque when mated to a 6-speed transmission. For a sharper feel, the 42 Bobber also has a retuned suspension and recalibrated brakes. Additionally, the bike comes standard with Continental dual-channel ABS.
