Jeep has hiked the prices of its SUV segment car Compass by Rs 90,000 on all the variants. Now the price of the base variant will start from Rs19,29,000 going up to Rs 32,22,000 for the top-end variant, which is Trailhawk. Jeep Compass comes in a total of 12 variants, having petrol and diesel engines in the manual as well as automatic transmission.
Some reports suggest that Jeep is planning to discontinue the Longitude (O) variant, which is available with 1.4-litre petrol DCT and 2.0-litre diesel manual engines. Jeep Compass was launched in July of the year 2017 and then the facelift was launched in 2021. Recently jeep has celebrated the anniversary of Compass. It is expected that Jeep will introduce the new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee in the market.
The Compass has a waiting period of three months for lower variants and 7 weeks for the upper variants. Jeep Compass has a wide range of rivals in its SUV segments such as TATA Harrier and the newly launched Hyundai Tucson.
Jeep Comes with a powerful engine that generates 163 horsepower in a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine whereas it generates 173 horsepower in a 2.0-litre diesel engine.
