Jeep Launches 5th Gen Grand Cherokee In India At Rs. 77.50 Lakh

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV's fifth generation has launched in India, today. The latest Grand Cherokee made its debut in September of last year on a worldwide scale. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee will be manufactured in India, just like the company's current models Sonate and Seltos.

The SUV has a boxier appearance with sharper lines, a revised grille with Jeep's distinctive 7-slot pattern, squared wheel arches, and thinner LED headlights and taillights. The SUV will receive modifications including a Trailhawk version designed specifically for off-road use with Quadra-Lift air suspension technology that lifts the vehicle to provide 287 mm of ground clearance.  

The Grand Cherokee also has ADAS technology, including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and emergency braking for pedestrians. A panoramic sunroof and luxurious leather upholstery are further highlights.

 The new version will only be supplied with a single 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine.

The firm provides a variety of engines worldwide, including a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 petrol engine with 294 bhp and 348 Nm of maximum torque and a more potent 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 357 bhp and 528 Nm of maximum torque
