Toyota, the world's largest automaker, plans to build its upcoming vehicles on the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin platform, utilising the safety-certified NVIDIA DriveOS operating system. This integration will enable functionally safe, advanced driving assistance capabilities, positioning Toyota at the forefront of automotive innovation.
Strategic Partnership with Aurora and Continental for Driverless Trucks
NVIDIA has entered a long-term strategic partnership with Aurora and Continental to deploy driverless trucks at scale. The collaboration involves integrating NVIDIA's accelerated computing platform, running DriveOS, into the Aurora Driver—an SAE Level 4 autonomous-driving system.
