Luxury carmaker, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has introduced the SV Ranthambore Edition of Range Rover, a limited-run model inspired by the tiger's natural habitat. With only 12 units available, the model aims to combine cutting-edge design with craftsmanship while also supporting wildlife conservation efforts in India.
The SV Ranthambore Edition draws its aesthetic inspiration from the tiger, evident in its bespoke deep black body colour with a subtle red shimmer that mimics the rich tones found in the natural environment. Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite accents symbolise the tiger’s stripes, extending to the roof, mirror caps, and even the 58.42 cm (23-inch) forged wheels. These customisations were carefully selected by Range Rover’s SV Bespoke personalisation team, known for creating vehicles tailored to the unique preferences of their clientele.
Inside, the vehicle offers an elevated sense of luxury with a blend of Caraway and light Perlino semi-aniline leather, complete with intricate stitching and tiger-stripe inspired embroidery on the seats. Further enhancing the interior are scatter cushions, noble chrome finishes, and white ceramic dials, all contributing to the vehicle’s refined aesthetic. The rear seating area is outfitted with fully reclinable seats, a powered club table, and a refrigerated compartment with bespoke etched glassware, ensuring a premium experience for passengers.
Each of the 12 vehicles will carry ‘Ranthambore Edition’ and ‘1 of 12’ inscriptions on bespoke tread plates, further emphasizing the exclusivity of this model. The vehicle is powered by a 3.0-litre petrol engine, offering 294 kW of power and 550 Nm of torque.
A portion of the proceeds from each vehicle sale will be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India to support efforts in tiger and wildlife conservation, aligning with the vehicle's thematic connection to India's wildlife heritage.
The New Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition is priced at ₹4.98 crore (ex-showroom).
