Kashmir Off Road Successfully Concludes 4x4 Snow Race Challenge, Frozen Rush 4!

Kashmir Off Road, India’s premier off-road adventure, overland, and motor-sport outfit staged a comeback after a hiatus of two years with the fourth edition of its flagship snow race, Frozen Rush 4.

The highly anticipated event was flagged- off on 24th of March 2022, at the premium settings of SKICC (Srinagar, J&K), in the presence of Major General SP Vishwarao (GOC, 31 Sub Area) Sujit Kumar (DIG Kashmir) and Javid Bakhshi (Director, SKICC) and other dignitaries.

This year around, the one-day races took place at Sonamarg on 27th March, 2022 .The event was supported by Indian Army and sponsored by SKICC, USTRAA, Yokohama Tyres and Café Liberty.

Speaking on the occasion, Ali Sajid (founder of Kashmir Off Road) said- “Bringing back FROZEN RUSH 4 after a hiatus of two years, kept us on our toes. The excitement was sky rocketing. As it was just a day’s race we maintained limited participation. There were total 50 races in several different categories.”

“As promised, we maintained to put on one absolutely, ‘high on adrenaline’ show with all the trained drivers as participants. The makeshift race track consisted of tricky turns, large bowl dips, huge elevation changes and downright gnarly jumps. All the drivers battled it out for bragging rights to prove who the best driver was", he adde.

“We all could witness incredible energy amongst all the participants throughout the event. I am over the moon. Super excited for having a youngest female driver, Monisa Muneer (18 yrs), she clocked 9th fastest position. Then undoubtedly, our one hand king, Sayer Abdullah (24 years old right hand amputee), it was a delight to watch them compete neck to neck amongst all others.”- said Farah Zaidi (Dir PR/co-founder Kashmir Off Road

The event concluded on 28th of March with the prize distribution and retreat ceremony performed by the Indian Army.
