Lexus launched in 1989 with a flagship sedan and a guest experience that helped define the premium automotive industry, entered the Indian market in 2017. Now the brand has completed six years in the Indian automotive market.
To commemorate its sixth anniversary in India, Lexus India held a gala event in the presence of its esteemed guests in Bangalore yesterday. Under the umbrella of ‘Lexus Life’ which crafts one-of-a-kind experiential moments for Lexus Guests, the company launched the Lexus Taiken Card, which will provide a gateway to access the most sought-after events of the world. It is an exclusive card to the year’s most amazing & exciting galas and will be extended to all existing and new Lexus owners.
To commemorate this occasion, a coffee table book “The Lexus Experiences” was unveiled which gives a glimpse into what the Lexus experience truly entails.
Since its launch in 2017, Lexus has been committed to providing exceptionally crafted experiences to all its guests. This spirit of Japanese hospitality known as ‘Omotenashi’ is at the center of the Lexus brand, where every action is rooted in respect & guest’s preferences.

Lexus currently offers environment-friendly electrified vehicles including the LC 500h, LS 500h, RX 350H, RX 500h F-Sport Performance NX 350h and the Made in India ES 300h. More recently, Lexus India unveiled the all-new 5th generation RX at its first participation in the Auto Expo 2023. In 2020, Lexus’ presence in the Indian market was further strengthened with the introduction of its first locally produced model, ES 300h.
On the business front, Lexus is looking to expand its customer base in India, enhance sales infrastructure as part of its strategy to grow sustainably in the country. The brand is currently available in over 90 countries worldwide.
