Maruti Suzuki reported total January 2023 sales of 1,72,535 units. This includes sales to other OEMs of 3,775 units, 17,393 units overseas, and 1,51,367 units sold domestically.
In January 2022, the company had sold 1,54,379 units, of which 1,36,442 were sold domestically, 17,937 were exported, and 3,981 were sold to other OEMs.
Maruti Suzuki India just passed the threshold of 25 million total domestic sales. In December 1983, the company unveiled the Maruti 800, its debut vehicle. Maruti Suzuki now has 17 vehicles in its fleet, including both petrol and CNG versions.
Additionally, at the Auto Expo 2023, the automaker introduced the Jimny five-door and Fronx. Bookings have already started, and the models should go on sale in the first quarter of 2023. Currently, the brand has accumulated more than 15,000 reservations for Jimny.
