Maruti Suzuki Sales Drops by 14 Percent

Maruti Suzuki India Limited reports a 14 percent loss on Total sales (Total Domestic+Export). The Company sold a total of 124,708 units in June compared to 144,981 units same month last year.

In the Mini segment, Maruti Suzuki recorded a 36 percent drop in sales as it sold total 18,733 units in June compared to 29,381 units in June 2018. 

In the Utility vehicles segment, the company reported a loss of 7.9 percent in sales as it sold 17,797 units in June as compared to 19,321 in June 2018.

In the compact segment, the sales dropped by 12 percent as it sold 62,897 units in June as compared with 71,570 units in the same month last year.

The Company sold a total of 402,594 units in the April-June quarter of FY 2019-20. This includes 369,985 units in the domestic market, 4,496 units of domestic OEM sales and 28,113 units of exports.
