Shuttl has announced that it will help Delhi NCR to reduce pollution and congestion by promoting the concept of shared mobility and how it can reduce the number of private vehicles on the roads.
The company also launched a campaign with Radio Mirchi. The campaign, running for the duration of the Odd-Even Scheme in Delhi [04th – 15th November 2019], will focus on encouraging commuters and citizens to take the lead in fighting pollution, by making clean personal commute choices that support the environment and are sustainable in the long term.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Amit Singh, Co-founder, and CEO, Shuttl said, “Increasing pollution and worsening air quality has raised a red flag for everyone. It is important that we take preventative measures now when we have time and contribute towards making a better environmental atmosphere. We hope that such initiatives will encourage citizens to adopt shared mobility alternatives and contribute immensely by making small and significant shifts in their personal choices towards sustainable options for the daily commute.”
The campaign was flagged off on 4th November 2019. As part of its periodic campaigns on combating congestion and pollution in cities, the company will offer free bus rides to all new commuters that use Shuttl, for the duration of the Odd-Even Scheme. It will offer 2 free rides to every new commuter, to experience how convenient it is to shift from car-travel and commute with Shuttl on an assured AC seat. All that new subscribers need to do is download and signup on the Shuttl app and use the code “SHUTLMIRCHI<date>” i.e. SHUTTLMIRCHI4 for 04th November, SHUTTLMIRCHI5 for 05th November and so on, to avail free rides.
The company is offering free rides across its entire network of bus routes, throughout the economically integrated territory of the National Capital Region (NCT of Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Sahibabad, Noida, and Greater Noida).
