Spark Minda Unveils Indigenously Designed Demo Vehicles At BMGE 2025

The demo vehicles showcased at the exhibit were indigenously designed by the Spark Minda design studio team and were equipped with products manufactured in-house by Spark Minda

Minda Corporation, the flagship company of Spark Minda, showcased its pioneering automotive solutions under the theme, ‘Innovating Mobility, Powering Possibilities’ at the BMGE - Auto Expo - The Components Show - 2025, the four-day event, held at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention Centre), New Delhi.

The pavilion showcased cockpit electronics, EV products, new electronics, next-gen driver-assist solutions, Wiring harnesses and distribution systems and die-casting products.

In line with this, Spark Minda is significantly increasing its footprint in the electric vehicle sector, marking a pivotal shift toward creating advanced powertrain solutions for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

Key Highlights: Demonstration Vehicles Displayed in the Pavilion

The pavilion featured life-size demo vehicles integrated with Spark Minda’s contemporary auto components and technology expertise. The vehicles were:

  • Druv (Four-wheeler): Druv blended a sleek digital cockpit, electronic mirrors, 360° AVM, illuminated logo, and premium rear-seat entertainment.
  • Topaz (Four-wheeler): Topaz demonstrated a cutting-edge metal-acrylic design, housing advanced EV components like high-performance wiring harnesses, PDUs, VCU, motor controllers, and telematics for optimised functionality.
  • Carina (Four-wheeler): It showcased security and convenience with digital key access, biometric fingerprint and facial recognition, and wireless charging.
  • Draco (Four-wheeler): Draco exhibited with its panoramic PDLG sunroof, power-operated doors, power lift gate system, electrically operated footsteps, and refined LED soft-touch features.
  • Tesseract (Two-wheeler): The acrylic bike integrated advanced EV components and a thoughtfully engineered design to push the boundaries of what's possible in electric mobility.
  • Tanto (Two-wheeler): Tanto exhibited BLE-enabled keyless systems, electronic seat and glove box actuators, and an intuitive 5-inch digital cluster that elevated rider control and comfort.

Speaking on the opening day of the exhibit, Aakash Minda, Executive Director, Minda Corporation, said, “Spark Minda has been a leading partner in shaping the future of the automotive sector. As part of its forward-looking strategy, Spark Minda is set to expand its EV offerings by integrating cutting-edge electronics like battery chargers, DC-DC converters, and power electronics products. They recently entered into a strategic partnership with Flash Electronics to create the fastest-growing EV platform in India. This partnership leverages Flash’s expertise in EV powertrains and Spark Minda’s capabilities in auto electronics, ensuring a comprehensive portfolio of solutions across various vehicle types, including two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and commercial vehicles.
