Helmet manufacturer, Steelbird Hi-Tech India has launched its latest range of vintage-inspired helmets – SBH-54, SBH-55, and SBH-56. These helmets are designed to combine timeless aesthetics with advanced safety features, catering to riders who value both style and protection on the road.
Crafted with a durable thermoplastic shell, the SBH Vintage series ensures superior impact resistance while maintaining a lightweight structure. High-density EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) further enhances rider safety by effectively absorbing shocks during impact. The helmets feature a polycarbonate (PC) anti-scratch coated visor with a striking chrome finish, offering durability and a classic look.
Riders can choose from three variants – small visor, long visor, or without a visor – to match their personal preferences.
A unique leather strap at the back adds a vintage touch, while the stylish and comfortable interior ensures a snug fit for long rides. The quick-release micro-metric buckle provides ease of use, making it effortless for riders to secure and remove the helmet. As a half-face helmet, the SBH Vintage series offers excellent ventilation while maintaining the necessary coverage for head safety.
Available in three sizes – Medium (580mm), Large (600mm), and X-Large (620mm) – the SBH-54, SBH-55, and SBH-56, are available at a price range of Rs. 959 to Rs. 1,199.
Speaking about the launch, Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director of Steelbird Helmets, said, “India witnesses 53 road accidents and 19 fatalities every hour, with 45 per cent of these involving two-wheelers.
