Svitch’s New Electric Motorcycle
2018 started Svitch, an electric bike manufacturer and E-Cycle company has announced the launch of its New-Gen electric motorcycle, CSR 762 by August 2022.
Design
At the first glance, being an electric motorcycle the CSR 762 looks quite stylish and has a unique design. The company says that its look and design will make the heads turn and this no pollution vehicle will be an asset to help reduce pollution and global warming. The design language of the CSR 762 is inspired by Gujarat’s Majestic Asiatic Lions.
Battery
The CRS 762 packs a Li-ion, nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery, with a capacity ranging up to 3.7kWh. The motorcycle will come with a 3kW motor that peaks up to 10kW at 1300rpm which is packed by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) and a central drive system. The company will also be installing battery swapping stations according to government policies.
Specifications/Features
The motorcycle can attain a top speed of 110km per hour and can go as far as 120km on a single charge. The curb weight of the motorcycle can weigh up to 200 kg. This electric motorcycle will come with 6 different modes: 3 driving modes, 1 parking mode, 1 reverse mode & 1 sports mode.
Price
The CSR 762, an electric motorcycle from Svitch will be priced around Rs. 1.65 lakhs before subsidy, while post-subsidy it will cost around Rs. 1.25 lakhs.
The company is also actively seeking channel partners to further enlarge the reach of the whole CSR 762 project.
