Tata Motors unveils Turbotronn 2.0, an engine that was developed domestically and will power Tata trucks in the 19–42 tonne range for a variety of uses across all categories. fit for expanding e-commerce, parcel, courier, and logistics industries, it has undergone testing over 30 lakh km and 70,000 total hours in a variety of demanding environments with varying duty cycles. in compliance with the Turbotronn 2 emission standards for BS6 Phase 2.0 is available with Signa, Ultra, LPT, and cowl platforms; it is platform-neutral and has a 6-year/6-lakh-kilometre warranty.
A 5-litre turbocharged diesel engine, Turbotronn 2.0, is offered in multiple states of tune ranging from 180 to 204 PS and engineered to offer a flatter torque curve in the range of 700 to 850 Nm for better drivability. With longer oil drains and service intervals of 1 lakh km.

As part of a reliability test, Tata Motors kick-started a 30-day endurance run with its Tata Ultra T.19, powered by the Turbotronn 2.0 engine. to do a non-stop run on the Golden Quadrilateral, The Tata Ultra T.19 completed nine rounds of the Golden Quadrilateral successfully and secured nine records in both the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records.
