Tech Startup Matter Introduces Matter Energy 1.0: India’s First Liquid-Cooled Electric Two-Wheeler Battery
Ahmedabad-based technology startup Matter has introduced Matter Energy 1.0 which is India’s first active liquid-cooled 2-wheeler Electric Vehicle (EV) battery pack. The battery pack has been developed keeping in mind future mobility, enabling greater range, and at the same time guaranteeing vehicle safety.
Matter Energy 1.0’s casing has been built with lightweight material which is also thermally conductive. Its unique characteristics include an Integrated Intelligent Thermal Management System and a Super Smart Battery Management System with sensor systems.
The company says that they have prioritized the safety, battery life, and performance of the pack, and has been developed according to Indian environmental and usage conditions. The Matter Energy 1.0 battery pack is IP67 rated.
The company is also planning to launch a two-wheeler electric vehicle before the end of 2022. This EV will come with Matter Energy 1.0 battery pack.
