Urja Mobility & Eastman Partner To Electrify 20,000 E-rickshaws

Urja Mobility, an electric vehicle (EV) solutions provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Eastman Auto and Power, a player in India’s energy storage sector through its subsidiary, Eastman New Energy, to convert 20,000 lead-acid-powered e-rickshaws to advanced lithium-ion battery technology.
The collaboration will leverage Urja Mobility’s advanced battery leasing model and Eastman’s expertise in lithium-ion technology, delivering significant economic and environmental benefits, such as: -
