Banjara Harley-Davidson, Hyderabad, has played host to the 8th Southern H.O.G® (Harley Owners Group) Rally where more than a thousand Harley owners from across the country rode into Ramoji film city to celebrate the spirit of freedom and camaraderie. Between September 20 and 21, the riders experienced motorcycles, music and unbridled fun that included concerts, custom motorcycle contests, and special award distributions.
This year as part of the 10th Anniversary celebration of the brand in India, Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle, LiveWireTM, was on display. Banjara Chapter, the H.O.G Chapter based out of Hyderabad, pulled out all the stops to ensure that H.O.G members had a memorable experience at the Rally. Ramoji film city became a parade of Black and Chrome.
Sajeev Rajashekharan, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson India, said, “It’s exciting to see every edition of the H.O.G Rally grow larger in terms of participation from across of the country. It’s a true reflection of the passion our customers have for the brand and a testament to our focus of being leaders in the leisure motorcycle space.”
Harley Owners Group annually celebrates five large festivals called the BIG 5. It begins with the National Rally in Goa, followed by four zonal rallies. Each Zonal Rally is hosted by a local chapter selected based on their performance in the “Chapter of the Year” contest.
