BGauss Auto’s New Electric Scooter – D15

Launched in 2020, electric two-wheeler maker, BGauss Auto has unveiled a new electric scooter, the BG D15. BG D15 is the company’s third electric two-wheelers after B8 and A2. The scooter comes with a unique design and the company says it is a 100 percent Made in India electric scooter.

Battery

BG D15 is powered by a 3.2 kWh Li-ion battery that can be fully charged in around 5 hours & 30 minutes and has an ARAI-certified range of 115 km. Also, the electric scooter comes with two riding modes - Eco and Sport. Under the sport mode, the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 60 km per hour in 7 seconds.

Features

In terms of features, BG D15 comes with all the connected technology features that sync your vehicle with your Smartphone. BG D15 also gets a removable battery, in-built navigation, digital speedometer, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless start, smart battery, motor controller, USB port and 16-Inch alloy wheels.

The company says that safety was the key priority while building the scooter at the Chakan plant, hence the BG D15 comes with 20 safety features. The electric motor and battery on the scooter are IP 67 rated.
