Honda Registers Sales Of 6,086 Units In Feb 2023
Honda Cars India has announced its February 2023 sales figures. 7,059 units in total were sold by the Japanese automaker during the previous month. The remaining 973 vehicles of which 6,086 were exported to the international market were sold outside of the country.
Yuichi Murata, Director of Marketing and Sales at Honda Vehicles commented on the sales activity in February 2023 by saying, that the sales activity in the month of February 2023 has been in line with the plan towards the seamless transition of our models to new emission requirements. As we prepare to launch New City, we have no doubt that it will give customers fresh reasons to be excited and appealing options.
Sales decreased by 15 per cent on an annual basis, with the carmaker selling 9,524 cars in February 2022. In addition, Honda has started selling the 2023 City in India for Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The mid-size car receives minor exterior aesthetic updates, a petrol engine that complies with BS6 Phase 2 and E20 fuel standards, and ADAS technology. The powertrain is paired with a six-speed manual and CVT unit and produces 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque.
