The high-performance electric EV6 GT car from South Korean automaker Kia will shortly be unveiled. The front 160kW motor of the electric car has a maximum output of 270 kW and a maximum torque of 390 Nm, and it is powered by a 77.4 kWh battery. A 270kW rear motor with a maximum output of 160 kW and a maximum torque of 350 Nm is included.
The starting pricing for the Kia EV 6 in India is 59.95 lakh. Announcing the EV in June 2022. Bookings for the Kia EV 6 began on May 26 in a few 13 cities and at about 15 dealerships nationwide. Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Gurugram, Noida, Jaipur, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Hyderabad, and Kolkata are among the cities that are included.
The Kia EV6 runs on Hyundai's Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), an electric vehicle platform. The electric vehicle is anticipated to have a 77 kWh battery pack and have a single charge range of about 528 kilometres. The Kia EV6 can reach 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, according to the manufacturer. The EV has an 800-volt ultra-fast charging capability, with a 350-kW charger claiming to charge the vehicle to 10–80 percent capacity in 18 minutes.
