Mahindra Adventure Wins The 11th Dakshin Dare Rally
Mahindra Adventure, a part of the Mahindra Group has won the 11th Dakshin Dare 2019 rally for the second time in a row, with rally legend Gaurav Gill and co-driver Musa Sherif finishing first.
Gaurav Gill won seven out of the nine stages in this challenging rally to retain his title in the Dakshin Dare 2019, dominating it with his Super XUV500. The duo battled against all odds, emerging victorious after a grueling four days of rallying covering the 2,000km distance from Bangalore to Hubli.
On the first day, Gaurav won all three stages, clocking a total time of 45:45.053min. The second day saw the duo slip a few positions down the points table, only to make a comeback finishing Day 3 with a 6min 42.383-sec lead.
On the last day, the team gave it their best, finishing the rally on top of the points table for the second time in a row, with an 8 min lead over the rest of the pack.
