Sandhar Amkin Industries Enters in Nepal With Mavox Helmets
Sandhar-Amkin Industries (P) Ltd, a two-wheeler helmet manufacturer company has announced its expansion to the Nepal subcontinent. The company unveiled its flagship product of Motorcycle and Scooter Helmets under the brand name of ‘MAVOX,’ with the brand tagline ‘Nayi Soch Nayi Raftaar.’
Owing to the ‘growth spurt’ and the need for high quality and thoughtfully designed two-wheeler helmets, with the manufacturing capacity of over 2 million helmets per annum in their Manesar plant, the company is all set to tap into the escalating helmet market of the international neighbor. The initial investment incurred by the project is INR 250 million.
Commenting on the expansion, Mr. Ayyushman Mehta, Managing Director, Mavox Helmets, Sandhar Amkin Industries (P) Ltd. said, “Considering the emerging markets of Nepal with a great deal of potential, it was a natural progression to enter the helmet segment here. We have appointed a distributor in Nepal to further expand our dealer network in the country.”
He further added, “Nepal market marks the inception of our international journey & we plan to enter South East Asia and neighboring countries as these too are emerging markets with lots of potentials.”
