Tata Motors Launches Harrier 2023 With 4 New Features

In India, the MY23 Tata Harrier has been launched, with prices beginning at Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). Only one diesel engine is available with both automatic and manual transmissions, despite there being seven versions over five colour options.

Since the Harrier range's inception in 2019, this upgrade has been the most significant one. The Harrier now has a substantial number of features that the market has come to expect. The Harrier Dark Red Edition served as the first vehicle to feature these characteristics at the Auto Expo 2023.

A similar OS was used by all Tata cars to power the 8.0-inch entertainment system starting with the MY22 Harrier. It received wireless connectivity in 2020 and phone mirroring a year later but lagged behind its competitors. This new display is a 10.24-inch screen that runs a new OS with an easier-to-use UI.

Tata has finally installed a 360-degree camera setup for the Harrier in addition to the infotainment system update. Given the size of the SUV, it allows a variety of perspectives of the vehicle and is only available with the top-spec XZ+/XZA+ models. Once we have driven the car, we will be able to tell you how it is utilised in real life.

The instrument cluster of the Tata Harrier was designed using analogue clocks with a full-colour MID in the centre for a considerable amount of time. A full-digital cluster with a circular configuration for the various gauges is included as part of the MY23 update. The cluster receives music data in addition to compatibility with navigation.

With the Harrier and Safari, Tata has integrated ADAS functionality for the first time. The vehicles have Level 1 ADAS installed, which includes features like lane change alert, high beam assist, traffic signal recognition, and front collision warning. Only the XZA+(O) variant supports it.
