Toyota Kirloskar Motor Registers Total Sales Of 15,378 Units In September

In September 2022, Toyota Kirloskar Motors sold 15,378 total units, a 66 percent increase over wholesale sales in the same month the previous year. As a point of comparison, Toyota sold 9,284 units in the month of September 2021, and overall wholesale sales for this FY from April to September 2022 increased by 68 percent over the same time in 2017. The Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Legender, Toyota Innova Crysta, and even the Toyota Glanza helped the business post good sales.

Toyota sold 9,284 units in September 2021 as opposed to 12,772 units in the same month a year ago, a decrease of 27.30 percent on a year-over-year (YoY) basis from the same period the previous year. In spite of this, Toyota had a 14 percent increase in sales month over month (MoM) in August 2021, selling 8,116 units. Year over year (YTD) sales increased by 98 percent, reaching 94,493 units compared to 47,743 units during the same period last year.
